In this article, i’m going to cover proven productivity hacks for Bloggers.
“If your dream is a big dream, and if you want your life to work on the high level that you say you do, there’s no way around doing the work it takes to get you there.”
Bloggers have numerous tasks to accomplish in order to achieve their goals.
However, the main obstacle standing between them and their goals is the multitude of excuses they make on a daily basis. Many of them end up wasting a significant portion of their time doing nothing.
Ideally, a blogger should update their blog with content daily in order to engage with their audience, promote their work, and build links consistently.
Despite knowing that working hard can help them build an empire, many bloggers struggle with their inner conscience, feeling that what they are doing isn’t right and that they are falling behind.
With over 600 million bloggers worldwide and the number increasing, the competition is incredibly tough. Without sufficient focus, it’s easy to end up facing failure.
5 Productivity Hacks For Bloggers To Apply:
In order to succeed in life, it’s important to stay focused on your work and be passionate about it.
Lack of focus and passion is a common reason why people don’t succeed.
Let’s dive into the core and explore five incredibly productive hacks and tips.
#1. Start Your Day Early:
If you’re already familiar with the idea that “bloggers are night owls,” you’ll know that they usually prefer working at night rather than during the day.
However, starting your day with a hot, cold shower followed by a warm cup of coffee can boost your self-esteem and motivate you to pursue your passion and work diligently.
Scheduling has never worked for me, and I wouldn’t suggest it for you either because I know it doesn’t work all the time.
Instead of following a strict schedule, I recommend stopping work at 12:00, reading a book, and getting a good 7-hour sleep.
When you sleep for a shorter time, your eyes and mindset won’t allow you to work for long, so it’s better to get a good night’s sleep before starting your work.
I love reading case studies on different topics, such as internet marketing, affiliate marketing, and SEO, before going to sleep.
#2. Work One Thing At A Time, and Be Focused:
It is common to find bloggers with 15-20 tabs open in their browsers, and some have even more.
When you try to do too many things at once, it can lead to a mess. Instead, focus on one task at a time.
If you have five blogs to manage, allocate 1 or 2 hours to each one. When you do this, concentrate solely on that task and avoid distractions.
By doing this, you can prevent your mind from wandering and avoid thinking about too many things at once, allowing you to complete the task without any confusion.
Sometimes, attempting to do too much at once can lead to failure, resulting in accomplishing nothing.
For SEO, it is recommended not to work on more than three sites at a time. In SEO, you have different competitors, scales, margins to keep track of, and many other things.
Build a site, rank it, and then repeat. In my case, what I do is focus on creating microsites that bring me an additional $1k/mo. In profit. I build one, rank it, and then repeat.
This way, you can stay focused and accomplish your tasks with a lower failure rate.
“Whenever you want to achieve something, keep your eyes open, concentrate and make sure you know exactly what it is you want. No one can hit their target with their eyes closed.” – Paulo Coelho.
When you’re working, it’s important to stay focused and minimize distractions.
This means closing social media platforms like Facebook and Twitter to avoid constantly checking for new notifications.
Many bloggers struggle with constantly checking their news feeds, which can significantly hinder productivity.
I recommend avoiding opening any social media accounts during work hours. If you need to check messages, use a mobile app like Messenger to minimize distractions.
#4. Hit a Gym Or Workout at Home:
Make sure to invest time in yourself. Many bloggers gain weight and experience health issues due to sitting in front of a laptop or computer all day long.
I begin my day with a 1-hour workout in the morning, followed by a hot and cold shower, and then I have a warm tea.
This routine not only makes me feel good, but it also prepares me to work hard throughout the day without feeling lazy or sleepy.
#5. Sitting On a Chair Is a Must:
“Comfort zone” is often the reason why bloggers face issues like laziness, dizziness, and sleepiness while working. Many bloggers work while lying in bed, which affects their productivity.
After completing your workouts, taking a shower, and having tea, sit in a chair and work hard to achieve your goals. You will see how much more productive your work becomes.
Always remember that if you are not focused, you will never achieve your target. A lavish lifestyle, expensive cars, and other luxuries will never be yours if you are not focused on your goals.
Dream your dream, breathe your dream, and work hard to achieve it. These are all productivity hacks. Apply them, and don’t expect instant results.
Keep at it, and you will see how quickly you grow, gaining self-esteem, self-awareness, and a mindset prepared for productive work.
