What Did Mila Staneva Think of Affiliate Takeover Barcelona?
Mila loved the event: smaller than other affiliate conferences, but with very high-quality people. Instead of “find me on Telegram, we’ll catch up later”, you get real conversations. I agreed. People there were happy to help each other with anything from Google and Bing to Facebook account issues.
She’d been at RedTrack for almost two years when we recorded. I joked that people know RedTrack because of her. She modestly pointed out that RedTrack was already well known from years on the market and its Meta ads, so “my job was almost done”.
What AI Features Does RedTrack Offer? Copilot, MCP, Pulse and More
Mila says AI has been the main topic at every conference since at least last year, and RedTrack wants to be an AI-first company. Here’s what they’ve launched:
- AI Copilot: instead of building a spreadsheet report, just type “Show me the best performing campaigns on Meta for last week”
- MCP: connect your RedTrack account to whatever LLM you use and ask it for analytics based on your own data
- RedTrack Pulse: shows the health of your account and integrations, and signals you if something isn’t performing or data stops coming back
- ChatGPT conversion API: through an integration with OpenAI, with more partner integrations planned
For the rest of the year, she said the main priority is stability: no outages and a rock-solid platform.

Will AI Take Jobs? Mila Staneva’s Honest Answer
“It depends on the jobs.” Mila thinks there are many non-essential, “paper-pushing” jobs in the world. She still can’t believe writing emails is a whole job for some people. AI will cut repetitive jobs, but people who think and make decisions will stay in business.
She also believes we’re still far from everything being automated and robots doing everything for us.

How Does Mila Staneva Use AI? (And What She Hates)
Does she love or hate AI? She thinks it’s a useful tool, but many people don’t use it properly. She dislikes people using AI as a girlfriend, boyfriend or therapist. For speeches, documents and analysis? She likes it.
Her daily tools are simple: Claude and Fireflies. She loves Fireflies because she gets distracted taking notes, and the AI meeting summaries and action items are now very good.

What Is Mila Staneva’s Proudest Accomplishment? Friends, Bangkok and Her Best Year
Mila’s proudest accomplishment surprised me. Less than two years into this industry, she’s proudest that she made real friends, not just partners and colleagues.
She doesn’t think she’s had a worst year. Last year was amazing: lots of events, amazing people and countries she never expected to visit, like Brazil and Thailand. She says she literally cried in Bangkok because she felt so happy and blessed. 🇹🇭
If she could bring one person back, it would be her grandmother, a hard-working woman who seemed able to do anything. And with 24 hours left, she’d tell everyone she loves that she loves them.
Money, Lottery Dreams and Books: Mila Staneva’s Favourites
Money-wise, Mila thinks work gives you a sense of accomplishment and value, and spending money is more fun when you’ve worked for it. When I pushed for a FIRE number, she joked her way upwards because she wants to fly business class both ways.
If she won $20 million, she’d buy an apartment in Barcelona, or a house by the sea. She’s from Bulgaria. Her favourite hobby is travelling, which she now gets to do for work.
She still reads books on paper. Her two favourites:
- The Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Galaxy by Douglas Adams: hilarious but deep
- Zorba the Greek (Alexis Zorbas) by Nikos Kazantzakis: a philosophical book about learning to enjoy life
Mila Staneva’s Best Life Advice
Her best advice applies well beyond affiliate marketing:
“Don’t ask the question unless you’re ready to hear whatever answer.” -Mila Staneva
But in general, she says, be curious, ask questions and enjoy life.
