“The world needs love, not war.” 🇺🇦

🧘 One Practice for Hard Times

With so much happening in the world, I asked Vishen what he’d say to people having a very bad time. 🧘

“In the simplest sense, the most important thing is to have a personal practice.” That could be meditation or reading: a personal growth practice that calms you down and helps you put things in perspective. For more from the Mindvalley family, read Kristina Mand-Lakhiani’s interview. 🔗

🇺🇦 Why He Stands With Ukraine

I’d seen his post about Russia and Ukraine and asked why this was happening. Vishen didn’t hold back: he called Putin a madman and a dictator. 🇺🇦

He said this isn’t about taking sides; it’s the right side against the world. Everyone should support Ukraine, because the world needs love, not war, and unity. He added that the good news was Putin was losing because of the Ukrainians, and that the brave Russians protesting in the streets deserve help too. ✊ Standing Up to Bullies

When I said I don’t like war and want more love, he said that in this case, peace alone won’t get you anywhere. ✊

Speaking as someone from Estonia, he said that if Putin came to his country, he would pick up a gun and fight for his land. If people don’t stand up to dictators, it sends the wrong message to other would-be dictators. For more life lessons, read Jabez Reuben’s inspiring journey. 🔗
