🚀 From Engineer to Affiliate
Vipul has an electrical engineering background but always loved computers. He started blogging five or six years before, joined online forums and became a Microsoft Student Partner, which got him into many conferences and startup events. 🚀
After college, he joined one of the biggest consultancies. His mom suggested trying it for a year. He knew from day one he wouldn’t like it and resigned in his 11th month. He was already doing affiliate work with contacts in the US. By the time of this interview, AdSparkx Media worked with 100+ clients in over 20 countries. 🌍 Speaking Abroad and Masterminds
That year, he’d visited six or seven countries over three months, speaking in Las Vegas and Amsterdam, and was building a customer base in Europe. 🌍
He learns from Charles Ngo and forums like STM, Warrior Forum and AffiliateFix. A personal brand gets you into private masterminds and better payouts. He hosted what he believes was India’s first affiliate mastermind, with 10–12 strong affiliates at his Gurgaon office, and planned a 2–3 day, 15-person retreat. 🎯 Going Direct Instead of Networks
ShareASale, ClickBank and CJ are popular in India, but his team doesn’t use them. They work directly with US shopping sites and travel companies like MakeMyTrip and Booking.com. 🎯
With paid traffic, you’re not limited to things that sell through reviews: you can build a landing page, find a marketing angle and target it. Most of his traffic is pops and Facebook. Pick a niche you’re comfortable with, and use places like Quora to research it. 🧭
🛠️ Landing Pages and Tracking
They don’t use tools like OptimizePress. An in-house developer codes plain HTML pages. At a million visits a day, WordPress would need expensive hosting. Cheap HTML on a CDN or cloud means no downtime worries. 🛠️

🐢 Advice for Indian Newbies
His one suggestion: don’t rush. Many people try a few things, say it doesn’t work and quit. Stick with one niche for six to eight months until you have real experience. 🐢
People spend four years and lots of money on a degree, then crave a ₹15,000–20,000 job. Invest that time in learning online marketing instead. Self-learning takes time, so if you have money, paid coaching can give you a path. One idea can be worth a lot. His income came only from affiliate marketing: no courses, and none planned. 📚
