📉 Why SEO Got Harder After ChatGPT
Pavan says people always misunderstood SEO, as if you could press four buttons and land on page one. His view: Google is a robot, and you had to help it understand whether your article deserves to rank. 🤖
Then ChatGPT made writing content too easy. At first he doubted AI content could rank, but realised it actually writes well. The problem? Someone who came on his channel had built a tool that published 44 lakh articles with one click. 😮
After 2023, many sites were de-indexed, removed from Google’s database entirely, and Google leaned harder on E-E-A-T. Old-style blogging stopped working, and authority became the game. 📊
He explains authority simply: if he announced a ₹500 note ban, nobody would believe him. If the Prime Minister said it, everyone would. Today, articles rank based on how much the world talks about you, on social media, LinkedIn and beyond. 🗣️
🗣️ Web Mentions: The Strategy Behind His 1 Million Audience
If the world isn’t talking about you yet, Pavan says, talk about yourself. In his reels he regularly says things like “search Pavan Agrawal on YouTube and watch this video”. 🔍
When viewers search his name on YouTube or Google, it signals that people are talking about him, so Google sees him as important. He calls these web mentions, and credits them for building his roughly 1 million user base on YouTube. 📈
It’s harder than the old way, but it still works. For more on getting mentioned by AI search, read Anirudh Agarwal on ranking inside ChatGPT search. 💡
📱 AI Is Democratizing Solutions, Like Jio Did With Data
Pavan isn’t convinced by claims that AI will do everything. He thinks some of that hype comes from people with a vested interest, noting that many AI companies aren’t profitable yet. 🤔
From friends still working in IT, he hears that big clients are asking for AI use cases, like how many employees a process could save. 💼
His big idea: AI is democratizing expensive solutions, the way Jio made mobile data cheap. He remembers paying about ₹250 for 1GB a month and keeping his data off so a YouTube video wouldn’t burn through it. 📶
Before, only big companies could afford a BPO, customer care and automated email replies. Now a small business can build its own voice agent. Something that might have cost ₹1 crore through a BPO might cost ₹100 with AI. Small brands can even create AI influencers instead of hiring models. 🚀
Now the king’s son won’t become king. Whoever is capable will become king.
A dialogue from Super 30, as quoted by Pavan Agrawal
His own ambition: he used to publish five videos a week; now his vision is 50 videos a day, with everything AI-driven. 🎥
🛠️ Pavan Agrawal’s Top 5 AI Tools
- 1️⃣ ChatGPT, Gemini and Claude: for everyday work like professional emails, basic websites and understanding anything
- 2️⃣ Nano Banana 2 (Google): his pick for image creation
- 3️⃣ Veo 3 and Kling motion control: for video, which his team uses to build complete AI influencers
- 4️⃣ NotebookLM: paste a long podcast URL to get a summary, or turn study material into quizzes, question papers, flashcards and even audio or video podcasts. “For a student, it’s a blessing”
- 5️⃣ n8n and OpenClaw: for workflow automation and AI agents, which he calls a free employee
He’s also honest about OpenClaw’s problems: there are real security issues like prompt hijacking, though he expects them to be solved over the next six months. When he posted on Instagram that he was hiring someone who knows OpenClaw, he didn’t get a single response. That’s how big the skills gap is. 🎯

💰 5 Ways to Make Money With AI
Pavan compares this moment to when computers arrived: lots of new opportunities. His five ideas:
- 🎥 Content creation: faceless YouTube channels and AI avatars with tools like HeyGen, plus product blogging boosted by web mentions
- 📘 Digital products: make once, sell unlimited times. Think ebooks, coloring books and ₹250–500 budget-planner spreadsheets on Etsy, or recorded courses
- 👕 Print on demand: custom T-shirts, like the “chai lover” shirt his friends gifted him, promoted with YouTube videos
- 🌐 AI website selling: find local shops on Google Maps without a website, call them, and build one with AI in minutes
- ⚙️ AI automation and agents as a service: build something like WhatsApp auto-replies once, rebrand it for each business, and sell it many times
His sales pitch for local shops is brilliant: if one hardware shop (Ram) has a website and another (Shyam) doesn’t, tell Shyam that Ram is legally stealing his customers. 😄
He also sees young people making money with US-focused faceless channels, like documentaries where AI now creates footage that used to be impossible to get, such as World War II scenes. 🎬
🚀 Building an AI Product With Two Interns
With about 1 million followers, Pavan says it’s time to cash in, and the best earning method is your own product. Affiliate marketing sells someone else’s product; your own is even better. 💡
He’s building a product for his audience, which he hasn’t disclosed yet, and expects sales from day one once he shares it. Before AI, he’d have needed to hire developers. Now he’s built most of it with just two interns, and only needs to add finishing touches and SaaS features. “Then I will be a startup founder.” 🚀

📚 5 Books Pavan Recommends
Pavan realised after 40 how important books and manifestation are. When his mother was seriously ill, a doctor said her recovery depended on her willpower. “Which medicine is willpower?” he asked, and later understood that a positive belief system builds it. 💭
If you’ve never read a book, he recommends these five:
- 🧠 Limitless: a mindset book to help you become unstoppable
- 💪 Can’t Hurt Me: the story of an overweight man who became a Navy SEAL
- 💰 Secrets of the Millionaire Mind: for financial independence and making money work for you
- 🙏 The Magic: on gratitude
- 📖 The Bhagavad Gita: which he says everyone should read
I shared my own practice too: I thank God every morning and night, I used to journal my earnings and the countries I’d travelled to, and I try to live by three things: humility, empathy and gratitude. 🙌
🤝 Why Events and Networking Matter
Pavan always knew your network is your net worth, but rarely made it to events. He’s attended only four or five, and already built a huge network. He said he’d been manifesting meeting me for seven or eight years, and one event made it happen. 😊
For me, events have been very fruitful. My first international event in Hong Kong opened my eyes to how much people were earning through SEO and affiliate marketing. Later, I met affiliates making around $100,000 a month promoting weight-loss offers through Facebook, Google and SEO. 🌍
Once I reached a certain level, I started joining private VIP events that cost $5,000–6,000 to enter, just to learn insider strategies. I still have a slight stammer, and events gave me the confidence to talk to clients and speak in front of people. If I can do it, so can you. 💪
