💼 Quitting a Job After One Month

In 2015, Kripesh worked for one month as a remote social media manager for an Australia-based company with an office in Bhopal. He even had a chance to go to Australia. 💼

He realized the job wasn’t for him, invested his pay in hosting and started freelancing, building HTML/PHP websites for weddings and local cafes. 🌐

His big push came from app development, for clients and for his own apps. Then he moved to YouTube and back to blogging. 📱

👨‍👩‍👦 Convincing His Family

His family didn’t welcome the decision. He enrolled in postgraduate studies and freelanced on the side. By the time he finished, he was earning well, and his family said, “Do whatever you want now.” ✅

I shared my own version: I left my job at the end of 2014 and didn’t tell my family for about a year and a half, until my father saw my bank account. 😅

🔍 Going Big on E-E-A-T With a Personal Brand

Kripesh’s 2023 SEO strategy is E-E-A-T. He builds his personal-brand site to show real experience with the products he reviews, like hosting he has actually used. 🔍

His content covers digital tools for solo entrepreneurs: hosting, themes, AI writers and VPNs, so readers can make the right choice. His blog was getting around 55,000 visits a month. 📈

He reads Search Engine Journal for five minutes every morning and follows Neil Patel and Matt Diggity. I told my team to study his detailed reviews with pros and cons. For more on topical SEO, read Koray’s interview on topical authority. 🔗

🤝 Why He Attends Conferences

Before conferences, he didn’t know anyone. At affiliate events, he met people who were great with ads, and now he’s thinking about running ads himself. 🤝

“I will get new ideas if I meet new people.” Coming from Bhopal, he says he now feels he’s on the map, reaching readers in the US, UK and Europe. 🌍

😔 Pressure, Depression and Finding Clarity

Kripesh scored 90–91% in his CBSE boards and cracked the CPT, which brought huge pressure to pursue CA or an MBA. He wasn’t sure he wanted that, and he went through a depression phase. 😔

A creator’s videos gave him clarity: writing things down, making decisions and keeping a peaceful mind. He says he now leaves money on the table for peace of mind. 🧘

I shared that I was depressed in college too, studying something I didn’t want. My advice: don’t do things that don’t make you happy. You can learn almost anything online for free. 💡

Worst advice he heard: government jobs are safe. Best advice: keep learning from everyone, even people not at your level. 📚

📱 The Jio Boom and His 2023 Focus

His biggest shift came when Reliance Jio launched in India. His apps were for Indian users, and suddenly everyone had 2 GB of free data a day. COVID-19 was also positive for his business. 📱

In 2023, he’s focused on growing the blog and affiliate marketing, testing paid media and retargeting, and maybe making English YouTube videos for US, UK and Australian audiences. 🎯

He didn’t share his income; he said it’s better than he expected at 27 or 28. 💰
