Why Did Kulwant Nagi Move From Affiliate Marketing Into AI?

Kulwant was doing great numbers in affiliate marketing. So why AI? “The biggest reason was necessity,” he laughs. Everything is AI-driven now, and “if you’re not equipping yourself with AI, you’re staying behind.”

He quotes a line he read years ago: “The formula of success is to find where people are going and be there first.” We both did that with blogging. We started when the world was just discovering it, and enjoyed the success. “Now it’s the time of AI, and here too we have to get there before others.”

How Does Kulwant Nagi’s Claude Automation Post Daily AI News to LinkedIn?

Everyone is talking about Claude, so Kulwant spent time with it and automated his data fetching. Here’s his workflow:

  • Scrapers collect the day’s AI news automatically
  • Claude gives him 10 hot titles for the day
  • His only input: picking the topic he likes (“number two is good”)
  • Claude researches it, writes the post and creates the creative
  • It then posts to his LinkedIn account automatically

Did it take long to learn? Not really. AI tools are smart now. If you know the process, like knowing you boil water before adding tea leaves, sugar and milk, you can guide AI to do it. “Once you know the procedure, you guide the AI to do the things.”

How Does Kulwant Nagi Make AI Images for (Almost) Free?

Before, Kulwant had Replicate or OpenAI API keys connected to Claude, and every image cost him something, like 7 or 15 cents.

Then he had an idea: “I’m already paying $20 for ChatGPT. Why not use that?” He integrated ChatGPT via Codex into Claude, so whenever Claude creates an image with GPT, it uses his ChatGPT subscription instead of the API. “It’s literally a free image for me right now.”

He also showed me his own tool, Magic Editor, where you bring your own API keys and test any model. It created a high-quality thumbnail for me in about 15 to 20 seconds. A designer would have needed far more time.

Why Did Kulwant Nagi Disappear From 2020 to 2024?

Kulwant was ranking for big hosting and affiliate keywords, with reviews and coupons, and earning very well. Then suddenly he disappeared from blogging and SEO, and everyone was asking why.

“In 2020, something happened in life where I had to go into my inner world and see what I was doing, and whether I was even on the right track.” He realized he needed a break. Too many problems had piled up. Something had broken internally, though he didn’t want to reveal the details on camera.

He took the break at the end of 2020, and it lasted a long time: three to four years. In 2024 he started again. Today he’s very active on social media, creating content, learning AI and teaching his audience. He’s launched AI training and now has students.

Will Kulwant Nagi Return to Affiliate Marketing?

“Once you get a taste of something, it stays in your mind.” Kulwant says he will do affiliate marketing again, but with a different method.

Last time, we both did it through SEO. “Now it’s the world of social media.” The plan: get creative, drive traffic from social media and sell programs with affiliate links.

He doesn’t follow any specific AI creators. When he sees a reel that works, he saves it and studies how the creator breaks patterns and structures their content, so he’s learning from many creators at once.

What Are Kulwant Nagi’s Favourite AI Image and Video Tools?

  • Images: Nano Banana, and GPT’s latest image model, which he says has “changed the whole game” in the last couple of weeks, even turning basic ideas into polished results in thinking mode
  • Video: Kling is his personal favourite. He hasn’t tried Seedance yet, but from the reviews and creatives he’s seen, it could become his favourite
  • Shorts: tools that take a YouTube link, find the best moments, add captions and cuts, then schedule to Instagram, Facebook and LinkedIn

He has only used US AI models so far, not Chinese ones like DeepSeek. 🇺🇸

Will AI replace professional video editors? Not soon, he thinks. That level of editing still needs a human mind, though with AI “you can’t say anything is impossible.”

What Does Kulwant Nagi Spend on AI Tools Every Month?

  • Claude Max: $100/month
  • Higgsfield: an annual plan we both bought on Black Friday for around $800, roughly $70 to $90/month
  • ChatGPT: $20/month
  • Midjourney: the $10 plan

He doesn’t pay for separate content creation tools: “Claude is doing everything,” and with ChatGPT connected, images cost nothing extra.

Why has he stopped showing up at events? “After kids, a lot changes.” He lives in Zirakpur with his wife and children, and a lot depends on him, so he has to calculate how many days he can be away.

What Is Kulwant Nagi’s Advice for Anyone Starting With AI?

AI is already in its “necessity” phase. Kulwant compares it to computers 20 years ago: people in big companies who refused to learn them were replaced by a younger generation who could. Like Nokia, if you don’t upgrade, you become outdated.

His advice: “Educate yourself as fast as you can.” The market will replace people quickly, and the ones who know how to use AI well will move ahead.

The advantage today is that AI teaches you itself. Just ask it how to do something. You don’t even need advanced prompts; send a voice note saying what you want. “It’s all your willingness.”

This interview was in Hindi, and this post is the English summary. He lives in Zirakpur with his wife and children.

It covers why he moved from affiliate marketing to AI out of necessity, the Claude automation that posts AI news to LinkedIn, how he makes AI images almost free, his break from 2020 to 2024, his plan to return to affiliate marketing through social media, his tool costs and his advice for beginners.

He says that in 2020 something happened in his life that made him go into his inner world and question whether he was on the right track. He took a break at the end of 2020 that lasted three to four years and returned in 2024. He chose not to share the details on camera.

He uses Claude Max, ChatGPT, Higgsfield and Midjourney. For images he mentions Nano Banana and GPT’s latest image model, and for video he prefers Kling. He also built his own tool, Magic Editor, where you bring your own API keys and test any model. He says Claude does almost everything.

He integrated his ChatGPT subscription into Claude through Codex, so Claude uses his $20 ChatGPT plan to create images instead of paid API keys like Replicate or OpenAI, which cost him around 7 to 15 cents per image. This is his own setup, so check each provider’s terms before copying it.

Scrapers collect the day’s AI news, Claude suggests 10 hot titles, and Kulwant picks one. Claude then researches the topic, writes the post, creates the creative and posts it to his LinkedIn account automatically. He says he learned it quickly because he knew the process and guided the AI through it.

He says Claude Max costs $100 a month, ChatGPT $20 and Midjourney $10. His Higgsfield annual plan, bought on Black Friday for around $800, comes to roughly $70 to $90 a month. He says he doesn’t pay for separate content tools, because Claude does everything.
