🚀 From Info Products to Software

Jai started in December 2014 launching $4.95 information products on WarriorPlus. With a technical background, he wanted to solve problems with practical tools, not just theory, so he moved to software. 🚀

He had three info launches and around 9–10 blockbuster software launches. He says he did a 7-figure business in his first year, became JVZoo’s top vendor for 2015 with an award, and a premium vendor on MunchEye. Next: Shopify, and investing in startups. 🏆

💡 How He Finds Product Ideas

Look at the problems in your own business. Example: businesses want mobile apps, but drag-and-drop builders are complex and developers cost money. So why not convert an existing optimized site into an app that updates automatically? 📱

Or a simple WordPress plugin that edits images inside your site. “Solve the problem as fast as possible, make it simple, make it easy.” For another product launcher, read Karthik Ramani’s interview. 🔗

📈 Launches That Did $250K+

Jai runs four or five brands, including ExpressStores (AliExpress affiliate sites), a mobile-app brand launched twice, and Xtreme Builder. 📈

He says four or five products did around a quarter million each; his mobile-app brand is above $300K; Xtreme Builder just did a quarter million. His first software plugin, for AliExpress affiliates (then paying up to 50% commission vs Amazon’s 8%), did close to 4,500 sales at launch, and 5,300 a week or two later. 💰

🤝 Getting JV Partners as a Newbie

Jai calls it a misconception that you need relationships to launch big. The industry is open to talent: if your idea is strong and you work hard the right way, affiliates support you because they want the best for their audience. 🤝

They created trends instead of following them: his app brand was only the second mobile-app product in the market when video dominated. For more on affiliate launches, read Vipul Taneja on affiliate marketing. 🔗

🧗 Hurdles and Doing Everything Yourself

He was insulted and blocked by one or two people. His advice: keep away from negative energy and connect with positive people who want to give value. 🧗

At first he did everything end to end: posters, copywriting, Photoshop designs, with plenty of grammar mistakes. He learned and never repeated mistakes. Newbies should do every part themselves two or three times, so they can later direct their team. 🛠️

🎯 Take Action, Don’t Hoard Knowledge

Jai’s last message: start taking action instead of collecting knowledge. When he began, he didn’t know what an opt-in page was or how to install WordPress. 🎯

Experiment, don’t fear failure. He says he could have made $2–3 million more if every step had worked, but failure taught him a lot. He also bought a house for his family. For long-term traffic, he recommended SchemaNinja; for another Indian success story, read Gaurab Borah’s story. 🔗
