Matt came in with a marketing education but “completely green”, starting at the very bottom: learning traffic types and bringing on advertisers, back when display, email and search ruled and Facebook wasn’t a thing. 📚

He read blogs, but learned most by trying: opening an AdWords account and spending a little money to experience what affiliates go through, like banned accounts and rejected ads. Unless you see it, it’s hard to help. 💡
