💼 Fired, Then a 30-Day Promise
Earnest was a corporate executive so committed that he took conference calls from the hospital while his first two kids were born. Then the company fired him because it was going in a different direction. With two kids and one on the way, he fell into depression. 💼

🛒 Google Shopping Is the Game Changer
Most people don’t realize Google Ads has a Shopping network, where physical products show up when someone searches, like an electric fireplace, a horse saddle or a leather couch. 🛒
Running campaigns there has been the game changer for his business since day one, and few people use it. For research, he uses Commerce Inspector to see competitors’ traffic sources, and Google Trends to check a niche’s past performance, because history tends to repeat. 🇺🇸 Why He Sells in the US
Asia is huge and CPCs are high in the US, so why focus there? His suppliers are in the US, so fulfillment times are manageable. 🇺🇸

💳 How He Wins Chargebacks
Earnest said he had a 100% chargeback win rate on PayPal and about 70% on Stripe. American Express takes more work. The key is compliance: clear, visible policies. If shipping takes 20 days, say so on the landing page. Have a clear returns policy and send timely updates. 💳
His VA documents every customer conversation, so disputes come with full details. PayPal isn’t a bad processor: bad actors make it strict. Physical product sellers are eligible for seller protection, but only if you ship to the confirmed address shown on the order. Never ship to a different address. ⚡ Fewer Apps, Faster Store
His favorite Shopify theme was Shoptimized, which has many features built in, like promo banners and geo-targeted pricing, though he advises against “flames” on high-ticket products. Turbo and Retina are also good. ⚡
Use as few apps as possible. On Shopify, apps load before your store does, so 10 to 30 apps slow everything down. Studies like Amazon’s show that slow loads cost millions.
